It all started back in the mid 80's when I was just a spectator on my fathers hunting trips.
When I was old enough to carry my own gun he took me small game and deer hunting. My
father and I tried waterfowling and I was instantly hooked, as my passion for waterfowling
progressed through the years with each step I made toward fulfilling my dream -Final Glide
Championship Calls. I would like to thank all of our Sponsors, Pro staffers, customers, my
Mom and Dad for supporting us. I am looking forward to the day when I can teach my son
Weston everything I have learned on the contest stage and in the field.

have two labs. I have been an avid hunter, since the day I turned 12 years old. I have hunted
six different states and two Canadian Providences, for deer, bear, turkey, ducks and geese.
My passion for waterfowl has accelerated to a new level, since I started hunting with Dave.
My favorite part of the goose hunt is laying deep in your blind and listening to world class
callers making magic with their calls. They pull the birds right into our laps, and I yell, ‘Take
‘em.’ One of my roles in the group is scouting. I also spend a lot of time talking, and staying
on good terms, with the farmers and land owners. I am proud to say I have been hunting
with Dave long before the business began. I watched them sell their first calls, to now having
sponsors and putting a video together for production. Duck and goose hunting has now
become one of my favorite passions. It’s a sport that I will enjoy for many more years to
come.

my share of success as I grew a passion for trout fishing and archery hunting. Throughout
the years I was very fortunate to have been introduced to waterfowl hunting, and lets just say
I was hooked from day one. This has since become my number one focus along with the
successful season, I also had opportunities to travel to many contests and I wouldn't trade it
for anything. I look forward to being a part of Final Glide for a long time.

Hello my name is Farley aka Jeremy Appel. I was born March 31, 1986 in good old southern
Lancaster County, within shooting range of the Susquehanna River. Growing up, living and
working on farms I gained a whole new respect for hunting. In the past 11 years, I’ve hunted
everything in Pa. My specialty is waterfowl but I’m happy hunting whatever, whenever! I’ve
been a big part of "Ruffneck Waterfowlers" since it started in 2007. I really enjoy hunting
with all the guys in the group and I’m looking forward to hunting and hanging out with all the
guys from "Final Glide". I want thank Justen and Dave for bringing me aboard this awesome
legacy that is "Final Glide". I am looking forward to learning as well as bringing some of the

my first deer hunting trip at the age of 12. Over the years I have become an avid deer, turkey,
and waterfowl hunter. I spend most of my time hunting Lancaster and Tioga Counties in PA.

chase downed birds. By the age of twelve he had promised to take me everyday, needless to
say he kept his promise. He took me everyday before and after school for five years this went
on, until I could drive. I kept a total of every bird I ever harvested. Following high school I
decided to move to Maryland’s Eastern shore to be a guide. I spent three seasons there,
learning so much in the process. I soon moved back to Pennsylvania to continue guiding.
This leaves myself where I stand today, still guiding and hunting in Pennsylvania. I will
always owe it all to my father, thanks dad. Good luck hunting and be safe.
